Dr. Chen is a doctor and professor at Peking University Third Hospital, an International Eurasian Academy of Sciences (IEAS) Academician, and an honorary member of the Committee of Chinese Society of Laser Medicine, Chinese Medical Association. He is a researcher and visiting professor of Heart Research Institute of Western United States. Dr. Chen formerly served as Dean of the Third Hospital of Beijing Medical University, 1993 -1996 and as Vice President of Tsinghua University School of Medicine. He was the private doctor to US Senator Ted Kennedy.
